On December 11th, 2023, the first Slovak battery industry experts successfully completed the certified Expert Battery Programme and had been awarded with certificates in Brussels in the presence of the Slovak Commissioner and Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič.
In May 2023, the Slovak Battery Alliance (SBaA) launched the EBA Academy pilot programme in cooperation with EIT InnoEnergy with the support of the European Union. The first 50 experts from Slovakia also had the opportunity to attend the Certified Battery Expert course. The Expert Battery programme, the most well-known module of the EBA Academy, is a unique European and very rich training programme aimed at upskilling for new trends in the industry and in particular building strategic value chains.
