Alliance

SBaA is an independent advocacy group composed of legal entities and operating as an industry cluster. It is an executive platform for the cooperation among the public and private sectors, innovators, the academic community and financial institutions. Its aim is to participate in the battery value chain in Europe.

The Alliance was established in 2019 and has received with the bronze European Cluster Management Excellence Label, which is awarded by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis. It is a member of the European Battery Alliance.

SBaA Participates in the First Meeting of the SUNFLOWERS Pro

Strbské Pleso, November 9.-12., 2025 From 9 to 12 November 2025, the first project meeting of the international SUNFLOWERS consortium took place at the Patria Hotel in Štrbské Pleso. The SUNFLOWERS project – Development and Design of Sustainable Composite Materials for Hybrid Energy Storage System Based on Li-Ion and Redox-Flow Batteries – is implemented under Slovakia’s Recovery and Resilience Plan and focuses on the development of sustainable composite materials for hybrid energy storage systems.

The Slovak Battery Alliance (SBaA) is an independent advocacy group.

The only cluster in Slovakia, SBaA operates in the fields of strategy, legislation and communication to build a comprehensive battery chain in Slovakia.
