ENERGY MANIFEST 2022 brings new challenges for coming years
Bratislava, December 22, 2022
The most important successful event of the Slovak Battery Alliance in 2022, the ENERGY MANIFEST conference, held on November 10th, 2022 at the Grand Hotel River Park in Bratislava, brought new challenges for the members and the direction of the SBaA themes in the coming year.
"On the basis of several positive reactions, I would like to evaluate the conference as a success. We had a "full house" of about 160 participants and excellent discussions. At the same time, the conference fulfilled one of the SBaA's goals, which is to raise awareness of the battery ecosystem" said Marián Smik , Chairman of the Slovak Battery Alliance after the conference.
The conference traditionally concluded with a manifesto of the most important theses and tasks brought by the conference and presented this year by Gabriel Szabo, Chairman of the SBaA Supervisory Board, namely:
1.) The need for continuous support from the state for innovation in the energy sector to the greatest extent possible.
2.) Continuous amendment of legislation to incentivize and respond in a timely manner to the development of batteries and hydrogen.
3.) State support for the topic and importance of hydrogen for Slovakia and the introduction of hydrogen technologies.
The above mentioned topics will be developed by SBaA members in the coming years and communicated with expert partners and state institutions.
