SBaA is an independent advocacy group composed of legal entities and operating as an industry cluster. It is an executive platform for the cooperation among the public and private sectors, innovators, the academic community and financial institutions. Its aim is to participate in the battery value chain in Europe.
The Alliance was established in 2019 and has received with the bronze European Cluster Management Excellence Label, which is awarded by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis. It is a member of the European Battery Alliance.
SBaA participated at Visegrad 4 Business Conference
Budapest, November 14, 2024 Representatives of the Slovak Battery Alliance (SBaA) attended the Visegrad 4 Business Conference in Budapest, a gathering of leaders in innovation, trends and advanced technologies from the V4 countries. Topics from the energy sector clearly promoted battery storage as a necessity for industry and independent energy solutions based mainly on renewable energy sources.
Every link in the battery value chain from extraction, acquisition and processing of raw materials through the manufacturing of battery components, battery cells and battery systems all the way to reuse (second life) and recycling of batteries is extremely important and depends on a good interaction with other links.
